Cave Tileset
This week I worked on creating the cave tileset. The cave tileset has the same tiles as the seasonal tiles. I also created a new interactive block(Guardian Stone). The guardian stone will provide tips and warnings in game before approaching new or large numbers of enemies. They will also be respawn points when perma-death is opted out. I am planning to give the Guardian Stones much more functionality in the future.
I also created and started to animate a new enemy, wolves. Wolves will tend to travel in packs. You will be able to spot them in the background doing various activities, hunting, eating, sleeping, etc. If Dathon is spotted by a wolf they will alert the pack and will run to the foreground where you will be able to fight them. The wolves are abnormally large because of the radiation (from World War 3) forced mutations within the wolf species.
This week I focused heavily on art. There has not been any change to the current state of the gameplay.
