NINE LIVES: The Start of a Journey

Back in September, a team was setup to create a game of epic proportions. This game is not about the size of its world or the droves of endless enemies. No, this game is all about the story, the story of three individual cats. Each cat has it’s own view on the world and has many different mechanics. This game is NINE LIVES.

Nine Lives has three main cats, Ariya, Plum, and Sylvester. Ariya is a well fed, very loved kitty. Plum is starved because her owner has gone missing and she is stuck inside their cabin. Sylvester is a cat born to be on the streets, he is wild, stealthy, and strong. Each cat has its own journey that you must help guide and you have to make the life decisions that must be made.

WHY NINE LIVES?

Nine Lives is all about story. We wanted to create a very fun and challenging mobile game while have a strong emotion evoking story. The story is what stays with you. We wanted to make some cinematic gameplay to convey the deep storylines and cool animations to move it along.

And who dosen’t LOVE CATS? We knew that a cat would have to be the main character. Then we decided we would two cats, and finally we settled on going fully cat infested with three main character cats.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Nine Lives is full speed ahead, and we will be constantly updating you with our progress. But there are a few main things you should know now. We are currently planning on holding Kickstarter and Indie GOGO crowdfunding Campaigns, sometime in the near future.
