The Animation
This week, I continued working with sprites. I first made background elements working my way to Character Animations. I first started with the mountains in the deep space. Then I worked on the rocky edges of the background. Finally, I worked on creating the tiles that the character would be running on.
After I finished the basic tiling I revised some of the game mechanics and realized that for what I wanted to achieve I would need to septate the player and the weapon, making the spear independent. I revised all the Dathon animations to remove the spear. I also had to level the two animations because the run animation was not quite level with the idle. I then started to add more sprites, tiles, and environments to the test level in unity.
Finally I worked on the Blinkr Animations. Blinkr is a type of robot in RANGER. It still needs mush more work but I was able to finish the OFF, WAKE, ACTIVATE, IDLE, and SLEEP animations. Next for Blinkr is the Attack Animations.
